A real estate development and management company
UAB "Rangon" is a Kaunas-based real estate development and management company providing premises rental, construction management, and consultancy services. The company develops commercial properties, including the Rangon Business Centre in Kaunas (at Juozapavičiaus Avenue, buildings No. 104A, 104B, and 122, with a total area of approximately 2,000 sq. m), home to a variety of businesses and service providers. In its operations, UAB "Rangon" places particular emphasis on the technical quality of its buildings, infrastructure modernisation, security solutions, and reliable facility management — ensuring a functional, modern working environment and sustainable property upkeep.
IT support for smooth day-to-day operations
A partnership spanning more than a decade has encompassed comprehensive IT maintenance — from the administration of workstations, servers, networks, and CCTV systems to user support and fault resolution. The primary focus is on preventive maintenance: systematic update management, configuration control, and infrastructure health monitoring, enabling potential issues to be identified in a timely manner and ensuring uninterrupted, stable IT service delivery in the organisation's day-to-day operations.
IT infrastructure design for the business centre
One of the most significant milestones of the partnership was the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure for a new business centre, with the aim of creating a reliable, secure, and long-term technological environment that ensures smooth day-to-day operations and the flexibility to adapt to tenants' evolving needs.
During the design and consultancy phase, a systematic network cabling plan was drawn up for the entire building — from workstations to wireless (Wi-Fi) equipment zones. In the implementation phase, server and network equipment was selected and configured — from routers to switches — tailored to the specific technological requirements of each tenant, with network segmentation carried out to securely separate data flows and ensure stable infrastructure operation.
Particular attention was paid to information security and confidentiality. Following the best practices of the ISO 27001 standard, an infrastructure was created in which each company has complete autonomy. This was achieved by providing dedicated server rooms for each tenant. This solution guarantees both physical and logical network isolation from neighbouring systems, and allows for clearly defined boundaries of responsibility in IT management.
